Vegged Out

You ever have a day where you just did not do anything?  Today for me.  I was out of the country most of the last six weeks.  There are a few shows that I watch and I had my DVR set to record them for the past six weeks.
Vegged Out
I spent most of the day on the couch emulating a potato working on getting caught up.

Additionally I am hooked on Christmas movies.  My wife has recorded about 20 none of which I have watched.

Pretty much a wasted day.  I think sometimes we need that…

Or maybe I am justifying my sloth…

  1. I certainly can identify with that state of "emulating potato". May be too often. Weekly?

Listening to "Synthetic Bible Study" audio messages by Prof these days. Again. (Forever grateful to you for referring me to those and thus introducing me to Prof). Prof mentioned how he had to resist reading and preaching so as to re-charge batteries. We all need that from time to time.

One of my mentors taught me, "Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is either say 'No' to yet another activity, or take a nap." Or catch up on Christmas movies.
