Bewildered Amazed Astonished

Bookends
If you have not read Genesis 11 lately you might want to.  After that read Acts 2.  The two passages are interesting contrasts.

 Confused and Scattered
In Genesis 11 the people were trying to force their way to God by building a tower.  God confused their speech so they were not able to finish.

Amazed and Gathered
In Acts 2 God’s Son had died to bring men to God.  God allowed all that were there to hear in their own language removing the barrier He placed on them in Genesis 11 so that they could be brought to God by the work of His Son.
