Here is the deal. In Deuteronomy 6:6-7 we men are told, no commanded,
"These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up."The expectation is that we are going to be talking about the Word of God with our sons (and daughters) continually. As men we are pretty good at talking about football, baseball, soccer, but the Bible - not so much. We will teach our sons to fish, throw a ball, rappel, camp, hunt... Who is going to teach them the Bible? Says here we are supposed to, what stops us?
